I am NOT skiing in slow motion! I just like to tool along and enjoy the scenery! Drives Joe and kids crazy. ;-)

One of the "little houses" on the Rubezahl run. We didn't stay there!

Taos

Joe just before lunch at the Bavarian Lodge by Lift #4.

Taos New Mexico

Joe and I left Wolf Creek and drove down to Taos to ski . I had skied there several years ago but Joe had not. So....he got a chance to see the really steep slopes there. When you first walk out to the lift area, the first thing you see if lift #1 and a double black diamond run. The mountain goes straight up!!! A sign says, "DON'T PANIC! there are many other runs that aren't this steep" When I was there before it was the third time I had ever skied so I stayed in the novice/beginner area, so this was something new for me as well. We had a great day even with the warm temps and icy conditions.
The picture shows us about 1/4 up to the top.You may be able to see the buildings down in the valley. The lift took about 10 minutes to get to the area we got off to ski down, which was NOT the top most area!

Joe is the second guy to come down Silver Streak. He is at the top behind the people on the lift when the video first starts. Also note the guys going off a jump they had built next to the trees to the left. Joe chose not to do the jump! ;-)

Kristen, Jon and Joe Treasure Falls

Kristen came down first, then Jon is behind her. Joe was doing something with his skis. He hadn't fallen.

Jonathon and Kristen looking rather cute standing in front of the "body bag transporters"

Seals Do Ski

Just a few shots of Jonathon, Kristen, Joe and I skiing at Wolf Creek.
