It's a ZOO here!

A day at the Gentry Arkansas Drive thru and petting zoo. Colin and the camel had an up close and personal "raspberry spitting" contest. I now have Colin spit on the inside of the window and camel spit on the outside! :-) He liked this Lemur but not the others. Colin really liked the baby black bear. This was this morning after his cooking breakfast time. He said banana splits and pickles are the best.

Afternoon and Bedtime

Pushing the wagon out for an afternoon of play outside (at least until the early evening allergy time arrives)
A bucket to throw rocks in that go "plink" and the blue "pappa's truck" to haul the rocks to the bucket.
Pulling Bear in the wagon.

A big boy bed for a big boy who is just almost totally potty trained!

Ski practice

He had asked to ski again this morning and I finally had the camera ready to video.
He didn't like falling as much today. Last night he thought it was funny when the" Wii Colin" would hit the fence or a tree and he looked like a giant snowball. I think today he was too serious about all this.

Colin will ride and ski.

Colin decided that it was better to ride without pants. He likes to ski with his Wii character until he falls down and looks like a snowball! Colin leans to make his character turn to the left and right. He shakes his arms to make Colin get up when he falls.

Colin Week!

Driving Great Grandpa Joe's new boat on the way to the area to fish. Note the juice box on the dashboard. :-)

Watching his sinker in case a fish actually gets on it.
If you are in Grandpa Joe's boat you must have snacks like cookies and cherrios.

Colin finally out of the car! Joe and Colin as they tried out the bench on the new sidewalk.

April Hikes to Lake Fort Smith & Devils Den

Todays hike was to Devils Den. We took the bike trail up to the creek crossing then back tracked (due to high water crossing. Sounds exciting doesn't it?) We saw deer and lots of pretty spring early violets. The little water fall was beautiful with the ferns starting to branch out near the edges.

You can't see the red buds and a few dogwoods trying to bloom out behind me, but they are there!
The waterfalls above and below are on the trail at Lake Fort Smith.
