After hiking up to thevolcano site, then swimming out to an island that had thermal springs from our sail boat, we actually hiked up the trail to the town in Santorini. It beat standing in line for two hours for the cable car or riding the goofy mules or donkeys!

A look out across the volcano to the rest of our tour group to the site. Joe, myself and a guy from England were the only English speakers so the tour guide would give us info them send us on up while she did the rest in Greek, French , Italinan and Spainsh. We liked the fact that we could just go on our own pace....which is faster than the rest of them. Europeans are out of shape overall.
