Shores Lake Loop- Ozark Highland Trail

A March Hike from Shores Lake campground up to the base of White Rock.

This is a spur of the Ozark Highland Trail across Arkansas. It's a 14 mile loop that goes up to White Rock bluffs and then back down to Shores Lake. We only did 11 miles, Joe tweaked his knee on one of the steep areas. The waterfalls were awesome! Didn't see much wildlife...the hiking guide book made mention of the bears eating the trail markers but we didn't see any bear marks, (Thank the Lord) This is a great trail with some really wonderful scenery. Lots of steep climbs but still worth it.
